Wow, the hits keep coming for our beloved Renaissance Tower at the Myrtle Beach Resort. According to an online publication that tracks class action lawsuits, a group of condo owners has filed suit against several current and former board members. Also included in the suit is the former management company of the Tower, William Douglas Management Inc.

We really hate to see this. The last thing they need is another lawsuit done there. I was approached in approximately 2016 to consider running for an open board seat. At the time I was actively involved in our homeowners association in Snowshoe, WV. Luckily, I declined the invitation.
I did agree in prior years to sit on a marketing committee and worked with the building manager on creating a website and Facebook page for owners to advertise their condos for rent.
Let’s hope they can get the building back in order and peacefully resolve all these issues. The resort is too nice a place to have all this chaos and dysfunction going on.
